Lose fuel pressure

What’s goin on fellas loading fuel pressure when foot is on the gas in idle it stays on … I’ve done process of elimination. Installed two brand new fuel pumps . Changed regulator . Installed a fuel pump I know works . I’ve eliminated possibly of something wrong with my fuel cell. Checked the floats on the carb . The only thing I can think of is lobe on cam is flatting out for lack of better terms… I’m going to purchase an electric fuel pump install and find out if cam is part of the problem … open suggestions at this point

So, you’ve been using mechanical pumps? I assume you have a fuel pressure gauge in line?
How are your fuel lines? Could a weak fuel line be collapsing from the suction of the fuel pump? Could you be sucking air from somewhere? I think I remember reading someone else here ended up having a cracked fitting at the tank I believe.

Not to rule out but all my lines are new and fittings I’ll have to check them out . Yes I’ve been using mech pump and yes it have a psi gauge . It was reading 7psi at the lake yesterday and as I engaged the gas pedal pressure would drop . Now when I start in the driveway my psi is 0

Imma have to check them out troller also noticed disconnecting the out line from my regulator pulled the coil wire and cranked the motor it was a weak flow of fuel that’s why I’m saying I can’t rule out a cam issue
