Mechanical or Electronic fuel pump

Having a hard time deciding how to fuel my engine as somebody stated that they went thru 2 Holley blue pumps after them getting wet. I can't imagine not getting one wet somewhere along the way. So I'm wondering your opinion on the matter and why. Thanks..... has anyone else roached these Holley blues? Thanks for any input and helping a new guy out

FYI I’m on my third mechanical pump in three years. I’m installing a Holley Blue tomorrow and will take photos/videos.

I get my Holley blue wet every weekend. Lasted me all season literally out every weekend and fired right up after sitting all winter. But that is just my personal experience. I'm sure others have different opinions

Seriously, got mine wet all the time when I HAD a boat. Never had an issue in 6+ years.

Had a blue top in my boat got wet all the time never had a problem went good for 7yrs before it took a shit
