Motor mounts for small block chevy
« on: April 30, 2015, 10:44:16 AM »
I'm working on a project and I'm wanting to know if anyone has a template or cad file of the motor mounts. The mounts are for a 1979 mantra 3/4 stringer.

Rear is the same as BBC. I have built several sbc front mounts.

When figuring out the front or back mounts, how do you figure how far down do you come below the motor? Wanting to make my own mounts.

When I did it I mocked up a bare block, had my rails already mounted and took some rough measurements then made templates out of plywood. I set the block in with the templates adjusted front and rear until angles were correct. Then transferred the wood over to aluminum.
