My new bullet
« on: August 10, 2015, 07:25:44 PM »
Ok I know I'm not a Cali guy... But did drive to jetboat performance to pick up my little bubble deck... And have been on SoCal jetboat for years now... Lots of good info here! And helpful people! So I'll give a little run down of what I have going on here and see if maybe we can do some hp and trq numbe guesses?

Started with a blueprint 632 tall deck block...

Went back and forth a little on the carb? A little nudge from gt jets in the right direction and wound up with this jewel...  Quick fuel 4500 series 1150 cfm... I know I know the 4500 is on a 4150 intake with an adapter.. Put this is a 10-1 pump gas deal... I was not chasing every single hp? And that's easy enough fixed at a later date

Not going to lie? I didn't sleep real good that night just because I had NO idea what this puppy was gonna do? If my almost year of rounding up parts and doing the best research I could was going to pay off?? Or what?? The dyno guy didn't sound real impressed when I told him the numbers I was HOPING for? He was like (on pump gas) lol

We ran the motor on 93 octane with 35* of timing

Before we get to far here? We could not turn the motor past about 5900 rpm? The dizzy I had in the motor I had put a msd rev limiter in it and had it set for my old 496? For some reason it would not reset any higher? We tried a stock hei but not enough fire in the wire! Lol but I won't turn it no tighter than that in the boat anyway! Just a good solid lake boat

I'm really curious to see how that hull handles the power that thing is gonna make. (I have the same). Killer build this far👍🏼

The previous owner had a blown injected 540 on alcohol in the boat... I think the hull will be fine handling the power...
