I've got 7 running through the wiring block but you could run your ground wire separate.  That plug won't handle the #10 wire anyway. 

why do you need that?

Are you planing on taking the motor out alot? 

I hate those plugs

I think it has more to do with making the wiring job look neat and clean.  I hate messy wiring. 

This is what I used and will be cutting it down to size as soon as I'm sure I don't need to run any more wires.



It will handle the #10 wire too.  Here's mine finished:



You can see I have more than enough lugs if I needed them.

Hey Guys
for any color wire check out a local electrical supply store. they should ahve the colors and wire size you want and you can get it in any amount. 2',20' etc. and you can get stranded. just  to let you know.

2sav if you hard wire the the boat meaning no electrical box it looks a lot cleaner and less wire you'll have to use, run each wire were it has to go. just my o2
