So I just got done cleaning up the boat from the weekend and when I first walked up to her she wreaked of fuel. so I looked through the whole boat expexting to find a leak. Well I did but it was coming out of the top of the fuel fill... whenever I fill it up I never top it off passed the bottom of the fill hose just in case the hose leaks a little bit.   Ok my tanks are set up to draw evenly through top mounted pick ups. well today one tank was empty and the other was completly topped off up to the very brim of the cap like it some how siphoned from one tank and topped off the other...  Im lost. any ideas where to start?  o and they vent through the caps.

had the same problem.....i dont park it with full tanks any more and havent had a issue yet

also had a kink in one of my hose's so mine was only gettin fuel from one side.....unkinked it and the problem was solved

Ive never had and issue with it before tho.... and I ran all day sunday and a good run monday so I should have at least burned half my fuel

haha I know But the rest of the weekend she emptied evenly... and I just went out and checked to see if any of the lines were kinked and nope, all looked fine. what doesnt make sense to me is the one tank (full one) having way more fuel in it than I put in it.

Maybe but that still doesnt explain the over filling...

Either a clogged line, or the pickup in the tank is clogged, or a kinked line. My boat is set up the same, BOTH lines from the tanks equal in length to a T and then to the fuel pump. I have vented fuel caps also. The ONLY problem I have ever had in the past 4-5 years or so is the fuel heating up and expanding and puking out the caps, and down the gunwales Dangerous and messy Fixed that problem by disconnecting the boat and using the toungue jack and have it all the way up, just my .02
