I've got a Dooley 10QT pan, the rod flying around in the pan put some dents and a couple of holes in it, I've got a friend that can fix it for $100, but the windage tray and the pick up tube also fell victim to said freewheeling rod. I've read some not too exciting stuff about Dooley pans, is it worth it to spend the money on new parts and repairs, or should I just bite the bullet and get another pan? If another pan is the answer, what do you all recommend?

be carefull what you get, there are flywheel fore and flywheel aft pans...

Theres 2 Keith Eckert pans on hotboat. He is asking $200 OBO and real desperate to sell em. Those are normally around $600 or so. Dooley used to be plagued with leaking issues.

Before laying out any money for one of these, make sure it is only 8" deep. Most offshore pans are deeper and will not fit in a typical jet application. If they are the 9" deep pans, they will hit the intake.

The Pan Skips getting is a STG Jet boat pan 7 3/4 from pan rail to bottom Tom

BTW the last two "Southern cal made" pans I've gotton were Jigged wrong and warped ,very unhappy with the quality  Tom

I've measured Dooley and Milidon jet boat oil pans for the BBC and they both measured 7 3/4". The Rogers had about 1/2" clearence between the intake and oil pan.
