i am about to take off my manifolds today after work and i was wondering what the best aluminum polish is? I have always used mothers on my truck wheels but these are way worst then my wheel have ever been, what do you guys use?

Harbor freight 8" buffing wheel and some rouge. Wasn't a shiny spot on any of my aluminum, a few hours later and bam. Spent maybe 25 bucks on it all. Don't have a buffer, hf has one for 40 bucks as well. 3500 rpm set it on high and there you go. It doesn't come with a nut or backing plate so I also bought a buffer backing plate that had a washer and nut

I used white first and then green. Differed compounds for different metals and different purposes.

sand the big scratches and oxidation out

get SocalPSD's daughter to come over for cookies

apply rouge to wheel

apply wheel to piece

wait for shine to appear.

Did ya cut the steps off the snail to gain the 3 1/2...This is an extra set I still have wrapped up.

The snail has two mounting sizes. Usually a small 2 7/8 and the larger 3 1/2. If you look at the pic I added, the smaller has been cut off.

Minimal amount of increase but anything to help out logs is good to me...I added SS 3 1/2 tips to my deal. I also double clamp both sides just to be safe...
