Hey TJS. I have the same scoop got it from the same place. I hate bds. there a bunch of a-hole's if you ask me. They were no help to me and some of the stuff they told me to run with the efi was just plain stupid. Any way mine was welded.I wounder why?? Usually I'm the one with the bad luck. I 'm using one hole out of the 3. I asked him 50 times if its enough air. He said that each hole is 1055 cfm. I have a 780 hp bbc with a 300 shot n20. the good thing about the n2o is that it produces it own air so even tho its putting just over a 1000 hp its still using the same amount of air as before the spray. It ran fine on the dyno so I guess its ok. I'm still unsure about this cause I've added a little more hp with some bolt on's. And the dyno is never the same as real life action. Ill find out when I do some more tuning next month. still fixing the few little issues I had with the fuel system its coming out really nice. I'll post the pics when its done. hopefully this weekend.
I ended up doing the -20 balance hose. I put some new billet flush mount fills, non vented. 2 -8 an vent hoses to a breather tank on the side of the boat. had to do fiber glass work on one of the fuel tank cradle's because it was cracked half way down the tank. Since I had the tanks and exhaust off I re sealed the pump with silicone cleaned up all the wiring. put in a new billige pump alternater and a new fuel sending unit. I put a coat a resin on all the exposed fiber glass i could get to under the deck and on the sides and back of the hull to preserve the hull. added a additional 02 bung on the other header for a 2nd wide band 02 sensor to run a separate 02 read out so I don't have to look a the lap top all the time. and last but not least wired a dead mans switch, Kill switch. Geese I hope I covered it all I really don't want to pull those tanks back out again. I think that's all I did. I have a few more questions for my set up please check out my new post. since you and I have the same style boat and uniquenss I value your opinion and experience over most.
