Can some one school me on what -6. -8 and so on I ordered-6 thinking it would be 3/8 id and it's 1/4 id so I figured this would be the place to ask.      And where locally aka Hemet or near can I buy it off the shelf by the foot.    Thanks

Jamie G&J is the place to go

-8an is equivalent to 1/2"

-6an is equivalent to 3/8"

Topline is nice. But expensive

G&J is good price and great guys. They will also assemble the hose for you I'd you know how long you need

Assembly is pretty easy

Wrap hose at the cut with masking tape, cut with a cut off tool, then you take the masking tape off and twist the hose end on counter clockwise

Then grease up the threaded nipple and thread it in
