Well the cam has a 710 lift on it the motor was a 502 then rebuilt it to a 540 was thinking just doing Polly locks the problem I'm having is they worked great before l rebuilt the motor now well see pic below it's not keeping the studs tight and the roller rockers loosen up not good

well if it were mine and things kept loosening up id replace the studs and the locks girdles are for stretch and  flex. yah you may want them also. how hard are you pushing the engine???  if you are using it hard yes most defiantly.

I replaced the studs ARP I was thinking just running Polly locks but have never know anyone who has ran them and I haunt ran the motor hard at all just getting it broke in

Given the lift at the valve and knowing the typical spring pressures required for such valve lift, I strongly recommend keeping the rocker stud girdle on your engine.

Loosened rocker studs and/or loosened poly locks is not the girdles fault, nor is keeping them tight the primary reason for running a girdle in the first place. Figure out what's going on there.
