put ball valves on the pickups and turn the other side off. tanks will always pull from the easiest side. an extra bend, inch longer hose, etc.
I know this has been asked before.... first go after motor swap and right (passenger) tank won't drain? only thing different from before, fuel lines run over tt exhaust to tee then down to fuel pump, thx

Whichever tank starts out with a higher level, or is higher because of a list, that tank will drain faster, simple physics.Drawing from both tanks at the same time can be risky, if one of the tanks is allowed to run dry, the fuel pump can aerate the fuel and run the motor stupid lean....GT
good job, glad it all worked out for ya. get some cushion clamps on those lines to tidy things up so they're not flopping around. zip ties can pinch and cut rubber hose, these are nice and when they're tightened down they dont pinch fuel lines shut. you can grab them at home depot. http://www.homedepot.com/p/1-in-Rubber-Insulated-Metal-Clamps-67795/
