COIL COIL COIL!
Actually Its coil coil coil coil coil coil ! There are 6 of them

. But I dont think thats the problem, I think its the stator. I have been back tracking the ignition from the coils , no power at the coils, no power at the switch boxes. The switch boxes (as much as I can figure) are powered by the stator and take the signal from the crank triger thingy and up the voltage to power the coils, I think !
The good thing is I am learning new things (stators, switchboxs, crank trigers, multi coils) and I havent shocked myself yet.
I remembered last night that I know someone that works at a local OB shop

so i called him today and he told me to LEAVE IT ALONE before I make it worse (

No faith in my skills) . He said to leave it with him and he would check it out in his spare time and let me know what the problem is.

Just as a side note .
I never thought of this before, but because a two smoke has a power stroke every time the piston comes to tdc and a 4 stroke is every other time this thing (3.4 L V6) has as many power strokes at an equal rpm as a 4 stroke V 12
And NOOO I'm not slipping away to the smokey side

, just trying to get it to run so I can sell it (the motor not the boat).
