OK since ive been poking around, fixing little things on the new powerplant and getting the boat together....when i fire it up on the hose  i seem to be getting more water exiting the exhaust on passenger side  by like 50% is a rough estimate

water routed in from pump, goes up front to a "t" enters exhaust log to "pre heat / cool "......
exits log to waterpump plate , goes through motor and exits thermostat housing......
from housing goes to log risers and exits exhaust tips @ transom..

this is how ive always had it since i got the boat....

any imput? 

I had this on the southwind. Never figured it out....didnt lose sleep over it because it doesnt really matter how much is coming out each side, its the total amount you're worried about. Too much total water coming out means too much water pressure coming in....which can result to a blown head gasket.
