anyone have experience with running a pump to draw excess pressure from the valve train? i have alot going on in there and need to evacuate if possible...im not going to run it out the headers so an external pump to a puke tank will have to be the way to go for me...looking for anyone who can point me in the right direction as to where to go find the one i want to use.

1st ...
The first thing to do is figure out why you have excessive crank case pressure (most likely rings are gone or going away) and fix that problem first. Don't try to put a band-aid on a much bigger problem.
2nd...
An electric vacuum pump will not solve your problem.....the are for making vacuum for power brakes in cars with radical cams because they produce little or no vacuum.
3rd...
mechanical (belt driven) vacuum pumps are for making negative pressure in the crank case to free up windage and make more power. Not to pull blow-bye from an un-happy engine.

the engine is brand new so having it be wore out and getting blow by isnt the issue..

i have since realized that what im after isnt this at all and what im wanting is a puke tank/breather box setup

What rings? Unless they are cast iron they will take some time to cut in.

Chrome Moly rings can take as much as 20 hours of run time to break in. 

Had a customer put Amsoil in his brand new 454 several years ago, never broke in the rings....It pumped frothy crap from the breathers like a MOFO... Tore it down, a quick hot tank and hone, new iron rings and it actually broke in before it left the shop.  He put the Amsoil back in after it had some time on it...I broke it in on Chevron brand Delo 400....
