Life is always better at a Barr...
Knowhatamean?
Those Nicksons might as well be a two barrel carburetor.

Maybe overstated it a little, but those Barr center risers will outflow the living hell out of those logs.

Fuk yeah.
Lol

Center exhaust can be different and look niiice.
Are you thinking thru transom or "over the top"?
-
Related to this topic...i think; is there a way to plumb the water so that it still goes into the manifolds but not out of the exhaust pipe? Does that make sense? Any performance to be gained. I have similar exhaust : MerCruiser center rise aluminum manifolds.I currently have stainless pipe coming out of the top with water plumbed into the pipes.

I'm thru transom, I have a cover over the engine

Unless you have "dry" pipes you literally have to run water through the outlets.
I'm sure I am missing something in the question.
No going with yes, but why?

Where do I find replacement flaps for these tips? I think they are corsa??? About 3-3/4" inside id

CP,Hardin Marine. Different sizes. Slip in from in side, exhaust hose holds them in place. Pricey, but pretty cool.

That's what you need. IMCO makes them as well.

Was thinking that by not routing water through exit pipe it might be louder and free up a little HP. I have two hoses coming from the top of manifolds dumping into exit pipes. Was thinking about just having those dump over the boat through an outlet fitting.... just thinking out loud. School me.

Yeah, agree w/"JordanD" . Those work. I was thinking 28195 (?)would work, but only in 4in.
Weather's beautiful uphere, but 80° Thursday an Friday! Lov'n it!

Do those pipes go through the transom, or over transom.
The biggest problem is the temperature at the collector.
As for the HP, I'm thinking the 5hp isn't worth the loss of hearing and burnt skin. Lol

Through transom

Through transom
So how are you going to keep from burning up the exhaust hoses and the transom?
Dry exhaust runs in excess of 600°F.
Don't do it.
