BBC 4 bolt stroker 496ci short block kit, NEW forged pistons + rings

BBC Hi Performance short block KIT $2450, kit comes with everything to complete and can be assembled and blueprinted to marine specs by us for a extra $250

BLOCK
Cleaned and magged, bored and honed + 060, square decked and mainline checked, new cam bearings installed and brass freeze plugs

CRANK
Crank is a Eagle cast steel and has been balanced on the latest Hines digital balancer

RODS
Scat forged I beam Rods with ARP bolts(good for 700HP)

PISTONS & RINGS
Pistons are Autotec 4032 forged , these are the latest narrow strut skirt design and made right here in CA by Racetec pistons (formally J.E./SRP) , Rings are Total Seal and are 1.5-1.5-3mm modern metric sizes

Kit come complete with bearings and a NEW damper

ALL kits come with bearing clearances set and rings gaps ground so it tales any guess work out of the DIY persons mind that wants to take on his own build, we are here to advise and design the rest of your build!

We have 30+ years experience in Hi Performance engine building and have built from 300-3000 HP combinations in Boats, Street, Oval track, Off road rails and Drag race applications

This short block is now assembled and being upgraded to complete engine see below for parts for complete build

Oil pan Canton 10qt marine with pick up and HV oil pump
Cam custom comp cams HYD Roller
Lunati HYD Roller lifters
Timing set Comp billet double roller
Lunati 3/8 moly push rods
Scorpion alum rockers
RPC alum 320cc heads custom built with SI valves and Lunati spring kit (upto .675 lift)
Intake Brodix HVH dual plane
Valve covers tall marine polished
Distributor MSD ready to run

Price for complete engine $7950

Engine will make 610HP@5900rpm and 600LBFT@3800rpm, we swept our test engine on the dyno and started at 3500rpm were it made 396HP & 594LBFT and at 5900rpm torque was still 542LBFT & 609HP, we are impressed by these budget RPC head castings, its hard to maintain the torque as the RPM goes higher
 
(we will need $3000 deposit and balance on pick up or delivery, estimated time to build from short block to complete is 1 week from today)

Hi yes we sell parts and better than Summit pricing due to our WD pricing and low overheads below is a quick list of what we do

Pistons Autotec Racetec (wayne brooks company which he was formally owner of JE/SRP)
Cranks & rods Lunati Voodoo and signature series, Callies Compstar/Magnum, BME, GRP
Rings Total Seal plasma, TNT, Gapless
Rotating assemblies with any mixture of above components
Cams and valve train Lunati, Comp cams, Crower, Iski
Oil pans Canton
Heads RHS Plus we have our own custom built RPC heads with SI valves and Comp springs ect
In house head porting your heads or ours
Plus all usual parts bearings, oil pumps ARP ect

Machine work
Bore and hone with T plate
Crankshaft balancing
Align honing
Align boring
Cam tunnel boring 50, 55, 60, 65 or 70mm
Lifter bushings .842, .875, .904, .937 0r 1.062
