  I bought it and was told it was never fired pulled the intake off just to look in side before i handed over the cash back in 07 the motor was going in a 1969 Camaro it got jack while in the body shop from previous owner, The only thing i did was pull the water pump and intake ,oil pan yes 4 bolt main :thumbup:

   When i picked it up it must of been setting for a while had no signs of ware even has a GM label or barcode sticker deal on the oil pan if that means anything the seller told me it came from GM maybe just for a quick sale? yes 4-bolt main.

does this look like a tall deck to anyone else? the block # says it is  a 1967 427, the head number says 1967 427 truck, marine. looking at the water pump bolt holes in relation to the head surface it looks taller than normal, and the funky balancer and front engine mount looks the same as a tall block i picked up. i know i'm new, just trying to help..
