Yes,

We run the blown gas jet category with the NJBA.

Thats the only picture I have of the valve covers for sale. We are now using the short version.

Hey People,

Yep, that me and my crew at Lake Ming.

Don't remember who took the video, but it was when we first put the psi on.

Found out later there were a whole lot of problems in the fuel system and lot of Burst Panels later ::)

Had those gremlins ever since, but this year, should have a better hold on it.

Are you and your club racing at ming this year? If you are, have  Jim Brock be the point person, he'll keep on it and get those date for you from Roger Roadstrom, President NJBA

I will be at the NHRA warm up's in Phoenix with the Funny Car getting ready for Pomona ... you'll have to call Ken or Roznos for his address ... so I can't be there.

I think you have what you need to get into the program w/o spending any cash ... you just need a new tuner  >:D

not sure if you're kidding or not ... but just in case you aren't ... it's a rectangle plate made of aluminum that is made to blow out in case you run the motor too lean or have a back fire ... it will save the motor from blowing out somewhere else ...

Willis has stock in the burst panel industry I think, that's why he blows so many  ;D ;D ;D

Nope, I wasn't kidding. Is that the same thing as a pop-off valve or are they two different parts used for basically the same thing?

The “Pop off Valve” is the black cylinder in the top of the jet drive.

The part is a safety devise use to release water pressure when the engine seizes. The valve opens and the boat settle in the water without violent turns, it keeps going in the direction of accelerating until stops.

The part is $$$$ and well worth it.

Willis,

We might do 1-2 exhibition events depending on schedule conflicts with the SCSC. I know some of the dates already announced are back to back weekends with the SCSC events. We don't want to spread ourselves too thin this early in the game. We'll try to get something lined up with Jim Brock here in the near future. We had a blast doing it back in October and were very grateful we got a chance to be a part of your event and are looking forward to doing it again soon.
