 You don't have to flow check them I was wondering. find out as much as you can about the valve train. what kind of rocker's and what ratio. same with cam. solid or hydrolic lifters? roller lifters? Sounds pretty solid. My friend is very interested but not 100% so don't get too excited. thanks. race gas is a bitch. That's half the reason my motor is getting pulled. Upgrading to e85. It will cut my fuel cost in half or better plus a few hundred hp more. I was spending 500 to 700 on race fuel a weekend. :banghead: :screwy: Also upgrading a bunch more while its apart. stuff I never heard of. I love Ricky Caven He knows his shit. were tryin to get my 496 to put out 1200 hp on efi and e85 not including the nitrous.

Ok,  I haven't even seen this motor yet.  It in a boat that I bought out of Mississippi that is being delivered to Parker this weekend.  I'm gonna try and throw it in the water Sunday and see how it runs.  Then the motor is coming out on Monday night and getting torn down to see what's inside

Ok, got the heads off...

It's got some big dome gas ported pistons that look pretty bad ass...I'd say about 13:1 without CCing them.  Call me if you want to talk about this thing...I need it outta here.
