For Sale: Mopar 400 engine complete
« on: April 01, 2011, 11:02:00 AM »
I bought a boat this winter and the guy threw the engine in that he had planned on putting in the boat.  I dont have any use for it and thuoght I would offer it up here before I try Ebay.  He stated that it was running when he got it.  I dont know if it was or wasnt.  I would just expect it to need a rebuild.  If you have questions or want pictures or numbers of something specific, let me know and I will get it done.  I have no idea what its worth, so make me an offer I cant refuse!  I will ship this.  If you want a quote let me know your zip and whether its residential or business.  I get a fairly large discount on freight out of here.

Dang dude, the insides of the water pump passages look cleaner than anywhere on the outside.   The 400 is the ultimate sleeper for a stroker motor.  452 cu. in with just a crank swap -- easy cheezy 400+ hp.   But they are so common that shipping is probably more than the motor is worth to most folks.   Good luck with the sale anyhow.
