FS: BBF 460 DOVE-A Heads
« on: September 09, 2009, 06:41:48 PM »
This is a set of heads i had redone for my motor before i went with the aluminum heads. They are freshly gone through and ready to run. The inner springs were not installed (but included) for motor break in. They were never used to break the motor in. Has stainless valves.

Theres some markings on the heads from the guy who did them, they read as follows:

1.875" = 140#
.640" = 400#

not sure what it translates to though.  ???

$500 obo SOLD

A guy by the name of Vince Nelson in Ft Mohave did the work. I dont know much about him, but I guess hes an old school drag boat engine builder.

He didnt do the port work. It was done by a previous owner. I have no idea what the combustion chamber CC's are.

Who did the work? Not Sure, it was an old drag racer in Ft Mohave

Exhaust ports look ported/cleaned up? Not necessary from what I've been told, but I could be wrong

Any idea on current combustion chamber cc's? Assuming they've never been milled, these would be 76cc

Thanks, John

Was this a custom cam setup specifically for your engine or is it a over the shelf camshaft? And also is it a roller cam or a flat tappet? Would you consider any trades for the heads?
Thanks
