High rise and carbs BBF
« on: November 04, 2010, 10:50:41 PM »
Here is a high rise that came off a 460 BBF, comes with dual Holley 450's so I've been told. the carbs are 4 barrels with mech. seconds which are missing the chock towers(someone did a pretty good job of clearing them away). Comes with linkage and fuel line, intake can be polished out but is in used condition, looking to get $350 for the assembly.

IRRebel- what's the condition on your logs/snails? leaks or cracks? do you want to sell or trade?

They appear to be in great shape. No cracks I can see. Missing the nuts holding the snails on and need cleaning up. I never ran 'em, they came on an engine I bought that's gonna run TT headers. The engine was pulled from a running boat that was involved in a freeway accident.
I have no use for them, if you wanna trade or buy them, either way. I can always use a tunnel ram....... :screwy:

Getting them back and forth is the only issue. UPS would probably be involved.

Don't want to step on toes. So I'll get in line. Nothing boat related to trade, but have greenbacks! Because, as mentioned, can always use a tunnel ram! Located in LA. Can pick up.

Shameless thread jack in the name of humor (I think it's funny anyway)...

You need to take those Panther Jet logs and mill off the word "Jet" and substitute the word "Piss".... ;D

Panther Piss, I guess it would only work on Clint Eastwoods boat...LOL

Looks like dual carbs and tunnel rams are cool. We are lining up like bums for a meal.
