30 ft/lbs for grade 5 and 35 ft/lbs for grade 8.

I would use both a hardened flat and a locking washer together.

Awesome! I never had flappers before. How do I install them on the tips? Sorry if this seems dumb to ask.

It's pretty self explanatory when you get them.

Most of them have a rod that goes through the pipe and the house retains it.

The ones you posted the page of were not.....

Normally, the shaft goes through the inlet side of the tip in a hole through a couple of plastic bushings and the house holds the shaft from falling out.

I went to the store by house to buy them and that's all they had there. I was going to buy the ones I had a picture of but I wanted to put it together this weekend

I returned the weld in flappers they were the wrong ones. So I bought the other ones. They got here today and they are to big for my exhaust tip. They are 5in and I bought the ones for 4in exhaust. Is that normal?
