Last year everybody met up at the west side launch ramp,you could get four boats in at one time and there was more parking for the event.

Any cars, trucks, or dirt bikes will probably be cited by LEO.   However the city ramp is only about a 1/2 mile from the cove, you could probably make it in a row boat.   And yes you will need to bring food and drink with you.   I went thru about a gallon of Bloody Marys last year before lunch time.  I think I will opt for something a bit more nutritious this year.   

Well I think Bebo and I will probably try to make it. Got ??'s though. Can I get to the race area in a car or is it accessible by boat only? Whats the deal with food. Bring a grill; snacks and beer or are there concession stands? I have never been to Elsi.

 If I have some seats open in my station wagon.. i can charge you 5 bucks taxi fee to get over there.. hahaha.. kidding with 5 bucks (ralph knows what i was talking about, when tom had to get himself under the dashboard (to acess to the cd player honestly!)) LOL

You guys getting your boats ready.
This is what I found when I pulled the Advantage out to get it ready.

Now i feel honored with the $600.00 custom fit cover got torn by my roommates dogs jumping into it, instead of tearing my interior up.. wow i would have been like this... if that was my boat.

As much as I wanted to, and pushed to, I'm out on this.

We're all dissapointed, but with the expenses, and vacation time spent, incurred with the passing of my dad, it's just not possible. (And thank you all from the site for your support! Riverroy, just got your message yesterday, sorry I missed that while I was back east!)

I DO require lots of pictures! We all SOOO looked forward to this. Moo's new engine is still hanging from the cherry picker. and we had plane tickets in hand for pops to go with me on this one!
