Last year everybody met up at the west side launch ramp,you could get four boats in at one time and there was more parking for the event.

Any cars, trucks, or dirt bikes will probably be cited by LEO. However the city ramp is only about a 1/2 mile from the cove, you could probably make it in a row boat. And yes you will need to bring food and drink with you. I went thru about a gallon of Bloody Marys last year before lunch time. I think I will opt for something a bit more nutritious this year. O0

WTF you have two boats

Both have trailer issues and the Spectra has been poorly sheltered from the rain lately. Everytime I look at the trailer under that thing, I am amazed we got home with no problems. The Wriedt has brand new trailer wiring that now doesn't work AGAIN, a bilge pump and a diverter that don't work. I ordered new diodes from JBP last year, they came and I put them on a shelf AND NOW I CAN'T FIND THE DAMN THINGS !!! With all the rain and no garage combined with several other things, I just haven't got much done. The closest ramp is the city launch ramp.I am trying to find out if it is open or not.We are going to try for the city ramp so if you want you can caravan out with us.See my post before .The directions are posted there.

Thanks to those of you who volunteered to ferry me around, but I'm not gonna be out there tomorrow. Just got in tonight and I finally getting rid of lung congestion that I have had for 5 weeks now. Its just gonna be too dang cold in the morning for me, and I thought I would come out around noon but it just doesn't seem to be in the cards. Take lots of pics and hopefully some video too. Maybe somebody will bring a cow (purely for educational purposes) as the SCJB Rodeo Team looks to be in attendance. Play safe and have fun guys!

I've got about 140 pictures of boats on trailers and a few long distance pics of the lineup on shore at the cove. Let me know if you guys want me to post some of them. No good action shots with my little pos camera.

Was bummed I didn't make it :banghead: Spent all week cleaning and making sure everything was OK. My dad fixed the seat that broke on me at the Avi, gave him something to do, seeing as he is retired. Boy was he jazzed on how it came out :thumbup: :beer: :beer: Dad. Got to work Friday, and noticed a bolt in the front tire, OK not a good start, but I work at a tire company, so all is not lost. Anyhow, Friday night after work, got the boat hooked to the truck, checked the lights, and a bit of a glitch with 1 blinker. No prob, got it working after a little bit. Loaded the truck up, a few things in the boat loaded up, packed up an Ice chest with boat sodas. Was relaxing a bit and got a wild hair to start her seeing I havent started her since the Avi, (oct). Dead as a door nail :banghead: WTF Batt is always on a trickle charger. Extra Batt I had didnt have enough juice, and now too late to get one :mad: AM get a Batt, and go to start, and the fricking IGN switch giving me problems :banghead: Get that taken care of, and finally get it started, and all my guages are going haywire, WTF, now I am losing it :banghead: :banghead: Spent about an hour checking wires, and finally find a grnd wire that had broke. Thanks Steve! Anywhose was too late for me :mad: :mad:

1st time attending the tpm event-i did not get the pleasure of meeting the man =i have a swtd setup by him. i got the opportunity to meet his mom and sister that day. was a pleasure. they looked very pleased at the turn out=also was great to meet those i got an opportunity to from the boards-tim .nick,chromey.boost to mame a few= i too tried to make a pass in the cove but was not comfortable in doin so=boat got airborne at one time and that was enough=only solo run=
we do the same thing here at camp far west but our 1/4 mile cove is bigger and we let people know when they are idiots and such-
my only observation would be to park all boats at the back of the cove and limit it to two boats racin at one time-a group get together at the beginning before you launch would get everyones attention and address the issues from this year and make it know was is expected of you as boaters
i will be attending again in the near future to meet some more people and to look at the great hardware that attends=thanks--doug=sacramento boater
