2014 southwind regatta logo input

Well i know its a bit early to be posting stuff for the regatta but, why not.
I've got 3 logos for next years deal. Which one is your favorite? Ill take all the input i can get
Also if you guys have some ideas for awards ect post up as well.

Not as of yet. I am waiting on race dates from NJBA. ADAB and Lucas oil have there dates set already. Once NJBA dates are released ill figure out a date. I want it to be more early this year but it mite end up in october again or late may or early june.

I hope I can go this year, old lady has to take summer class for school. Last year then I get my dang summer back!!

They all look good. I think the 2nd stands out the most with the highlited area around "Southwind"(yellow).
I also like how the color fade is dark on the top.

You asked for input, so...

The "second annual" in the green logo needs to be a bit smaller like in the red logo.
What about hi-liting just the "Southwind"?
Maybe different colors. Not everybody's a "Cheesehead"

I really like the first one too. Clean look. I like how the SouthwinD narrows in the middle and the metal look of the bottom row.
I keep going back and forth on which one I like better.

As for awards " Best Non-Southwind"?

I don't see it moving far if it does. The idea was to keep the location in between the CP regatta and the Yuma power tour. What did you have in mind?
