The 2013 "October Trip" will be taking place October 11th - 13th. The spot will be Big Bend of the Colorado State Recreation Area. There is a ramp and several sandy beaches. It is located south of Laughlin, north of the Avi. Launch fee's are under $20

There will be no hotel group rate set up for this trip. The Avi is sold out but there is several hotels in Laughlin available. The majority seems to be staying at the Pioneer and their rates are at about $50/night. They have ample boat parking for all of us as well.

I'm ready also Mark.  It will be good to see you all. 
I hope I have the carb dialed in, but it is hard to tell with the boat sitting on the trailer.  Jet changes and accelerator pump cams are pretty easy to change. I'll try to remember to call AED tomorrow and pick their brains.  I pulled all the plugs two weeks ago and found # 5 plug with a crack in the electrode ceramic and some carbon build up on the ground strap, high magnification showed no shiny stuff.  Compression checks out, no broken valve springs so I'll keep my fingers crossed.  Am I missing anything?  I'm sure Danny and I will go through it again.
