probably just hang out at the beach there at big bend like we did 2 years ago. I like the beach on the north side of the point. Its huge and sandy. I dont expect there to be too much traffic this time of year anyways. It was a perfect spot when we did it 2 years ago.

The water is going to be cold so I dont feel like wading waist deep in back bay. The beach in the back is tiny and not wide enough for all the boats nor enough room for us to stand around and shoot the shit without being cold in the water. As the water comes up, that beach goes away quick.

Then we can all haul down to lazys for lunch too.

Pioneer Fri/Sat night for sure.

Just be carful cruising frm Laughlin towards avi there's new sand bars ,,,there's one shallow in front of rotory park by pipe line and also on last stretch before avi there's a nice 4 ft sand bar now...there will be a few of us at avi so ill be there thurs to scope it out for us avi stayers.. Dnt forget monster truck moto cross .. At mojave crossing sat! Gnna be a grand finale good SoCal jet boatt weekend so excited !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Dave, if we get to attend the event, we would launch at Big Bend for sure.
I was a dumb ass and tried to go past Big Bend towards Laughlin coming up from Avi, it didn't work.
Maybe I'll just sneak a tow line on the back of some sparkly Hallett while we're at Lazys.

At least last time, I got to bribe Avi security for a cart ride to the gas station.

That asphalt gets hot with no flippy floppys on !

No but serious. I caught wind that the new owner of my gullwing has it up and running and racing in Havasu. So I figured I'd hang with the SoCal crew fri. & sat. and maybe (if i'm not to hung over) drive down to Havi to see my old pile back on the water.

Looking forward to seeing all the usual suspects and meeting the new ones too. Always a great time with you all as I remember!
