What happened to Hals boat ?

Danny I was bummed when I heard you guys were not going to make it. I'll definitely keep you in the loop. Something locked up in hals pump we think.

What happened to Hals boat ?

I am fearing more than the pump, now!
I got home, with my hangover in tow,(DAM FIREBALL and APPLE PIE!)  and started tearing things apart.
With the bellhousing on and not being able to turn yhe engine , i cant get to the bolts to cut the drive line loose. So i unbolted the ujoint and split the drive line. Bad news is i can rotate the pump shaft at the splined end.
I have to get the drive line sll the way out of the way before i can try to turn the engune over !
I didpull all the plugs and nome are wet and all look normal, so i am prety sure a hydralick is out.
I did pull the valve covers and every thing looks good. No bent push rods, no broken rockers, springs, or droped valves!
I guess I will be pulling the motor,  flipping and pulling the pan, to have a look see.
 First i am going to pull the bowl and see if any thing is a miss.

Hope everything works out Hal, I know you put a " LOT " of work into everything you do.  At least it sounds like you had a good time with the crew !
Make a point to make it out for the Mothers Day SCJB get together if you can, looking forward to hanging out again !

I know you will get it figured out.  I just hope it won't be too expensive. 
I'll be taking the Hallett up to Smooth as Glass on Friday 25 October to get the Now multiple stress cracks repaired, just what I needed.  I hope it won't be too expensive.
It will be my Christmas present to myself this year. 
Thanks again to everyone for bringing joy, acceptance and friendship to an old geezers' life.  I truly had a wonderful time.
