Blythe Meet Feelers
« on: March 23, 2010, 04:33:34 AM »
Looking at either May 15th and 16th or May 28th and 29th.

It is very difficult to please everyone but, input will be helpful to ensure max participation or at least max availability to everyone.

Plenty of camping if you want to throw a tent

RV Hookups if that is your deal-pretty cheap last year

Dry RV parking too

Hotels in town 7 mile drive

Double wide trailer that sleeps alot of people. I'm going to try and get that set up if it is still available.

We need to have a firm date by early next week (like Sunday 28th of March) if possible. Will start to plan and make arrangements after that.

Fire away! O0

I believe Jimmy is working these dates out for the month of MAY

Either weekend works for me Jimmy.

Can you get some pricing for the RV spots and tent camping?

I vote for the 15th and 16th. If the trip ends up being the 28th and 29th I won't be able to make it. (already made plans that weekend)

16th 17th is my vote.  The 28th and 29th we are supposed to go to walters camp but I could blow it off if need be.

you know i will be there. i just called mcintyre to get my canopy replaced. and yes your trailer will fit there. it does not matter how big it is. there is room. i think to camp it is like 20 bucks. not sure if that is a day or the weekend. I am a perm resident so i dont really know what it cost to stay there. but i will call them back and find out. or jimmy will. Jimmy we should plan it for one of the weekens that mcintyre has the band out front. that is usually pretty fun. but either way every weekend there is a blast.

I'm trying to get the trailer for that weekend but no luck yet. I have emailed and called but no returns yet. Yes I was there this past weekend however, I was either too drunk or dealing with someone else who was too drunk to check in to the store and try to get the trailer set up.

I will post prices for camping, parking, hotels shortly.

Can't wait for this to happen. Going to be a great weekend.

That's pretty cool but I sure wouldn't want a wave coming in over the back.   The hull design looks a little "unfinished" back there to me.   I still have my first boat which was a Horizon.  Kinda have a soft spot for them.  Thanks for sharing the pic.

CHRIST!! That thing has almost as little freeboard as my Pickle does! and it's a mini day??   :screwy:

Just how much beer are you guys carrying in that thing!!

First, Call Roger Finney for a splash guard.    Might save your life.

Second, Be careful with full power hard turns unless at full speed! (I think I shared the why's of that maneuver once!) These things teach ya and QUICK! Some of the PB Eastside crew were witness to THAT momentary lapse of reason!

Good lookin boat tho! I like it!

You can make Reservations. Aqua has the phone number to the store where you can set it up. I lost the number.

Aqua, can you text me the number so I can call and get prices of everything. Once I get them I'll post them in the new thread for the sign up or whatever.

I'm ready to go!
