Irvine Lake Jet boat Regatta

Irvine Lake's 1st Annual Jet Boat Regatta is set for October 23-25.

Registration packets are ready!

Thats pretty much it Steve.
Just call or e-mail the gal with your info and thats it.
I doubt this is going to be a drop your boat in the lake and kick it thing either.
Usually the folks that get in on these things are heavy hitters that are out there to do big MPH.
Drop it in, do a pass, back on the trailer.
Besides, the water is just nasty.
It's bitching to go and party for the day though.
Good times for sure.

Sounds like I'm going for the weekend. Really looking forward to it. I'll be bringing out hull#2 for the event and the hauler to stay for the weekend. That is, unless it sells first...... Hope some of you can make it.

Just curious. What is the price of your hull. Do you offer them in different stages or even a complete turnkey?

There's so many different configurations and options it tough to quote over the internet. We can do a bare hull, a complete turnkey, or anything in between. A bare hull is $8500 for a std lay up including the installed molding, your colors and graphics. There are several options including flow coat, stringer options, and a capped hull. The newly tooled mold will be done in the next few weeks and we should have a brand new hull done for this event.

It is off the 241 toll road I think you exit at Santiago canyon rd, then make a left if you are coming from the 91 and it is just a couple miles up the road.

Both, it's kind of a show but boats will be running as well. i don't think they allow side by side racing, but it will be a cool event.

You can look at 100 trailered jet boats sitting at home? Where do you live? lol

I guess it's safe to say that CHROMEY lives a sheltered life... lol

Come on out and see some action. Or,,,, bring a boat and be part of the action (unless you want to spend $100 to stay on the trailer.

This is a pic of from the last regatta. This is the area by the launch ramp.

If the water is still high enough I'm sure they'll use this area again.

theres a thread over on PB talking about it.....was cancelled due to lack of interest.

initial threads about it when it was announced said it was 'invite only' ...i think that killed it.
