I'm down...Boat still aint runnin, got oil yesterday fuel filter today. Found a cracked posilock while adjuting the valves, kinda why I wanted to go over the whole MF before fireing it up. I'll check a float bowl in the morning for funk and if everything is cool........Fire!

One Q: Anybody know anything about blower motors, Ralph you or your Dad?, why are my spark plugs gapped at about .020?
It has a Mallory magnito.

This event is coming up in a couple of weeks.

I have couch space and floor space for out of towners who need somewhere to crash. I live about 5 minutes from the lake (via toll road)

I could use some floor space, or whatever.....thanks again Brad for looking at the boat for me. The old owner lives right there too, maybe he'd like to see it again, he just got too old for it.

Anyone interested in doin a bbq of some sort for this event? I got a gas BBQ I can bring. Pot Luck? Or maybe I will just bring the goods and charge per head?

Hire out one of those large BBQ grills and charge; they may not let you if it infringes on their concessions but if it's only for SCJB members it might pass, after all, you're increasing their take at the gate.
Everyone brings their own drinks.

I know the grill you speak of....my dad's huntin/fishin club rents them when they fish there......why rent when I got my own? yeah, its not huge, but my grill will work fine for what im doin....

I am not planning on cooking for the general public thats there, so I dont see why they (the lake) would have problems with this.

Im sorry guys but those v-drive videos make me want a prop real bad. The acceleration is just insane compared to our lake pumpers. I may cross over to the other side

Atta boy..yer comming along nicely. Nah J/K, I've had three boats in less n a year, jus tryin different stuff. Hard to compare my blown boat to the jets. I will tell you this, my v-drive and blower make a hell of a wine, the boat seams more solid (Sanger), the accelleration is VIOLENT and the steering is so responsive it will pitch you out of your seat if your not ready. I had more space in the jet and it was more comfortable for chillin. I've sucked up a couple of rocks with the jets, knocked 'em out and away I went now hit something with the prop and it's a whole differnt story....like $700 worth. Hit me up in Laughlin and I'll take ya for a ride.
