North Texas jet boats rock too!
« on: November 17, 2010, 06:23:31 AM »
Hey guys....I know this is a Socal forum however I visit because you guys have a ton of knowledge and many more boats than we have in North Texas. However, with that said....here's a video that was shot at our local lake this past Sunday 11/14/2010. Enjoy!!

Wow, very impressive. That's where we are, just Northeast of Dallas. We have a small but growing hot boat community out here.

I used to live near Burleson. When I was there I couldn't find anyone other than Chris that had anything like this. Wish I could have found a group like this while I was there.

We have about 15 boats in the club now and chat mainly on www.texashotboats.com . For the North Texas group, we mainly boat in Lake Lavon as it is the most family friendly and less busy lake in the region. We meet every Sunday in a cove and also on Wednesday evenings too. There's even more Hot Boats throughout Texas.

I've met some fantastic folks here and when you're ever in town again, stop by and look us up. Meanwhile follow the chatter on the THB website.

I frequent this site because the sheer numbers of jetboat owners is far superior to us here in N. Tx. You guys are a wealth of knowledge.

I enjoyed the video.

I'm in Lower Alabama and I think I am the only person here that has a Hot Boat.

I seems like all you ever see is "Bayliners, Bass Trackers and Party Barges".....

Sounds like a good lead in for a song.

Lol, I'm with ya bro!!

It's cold here and since Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years is out of the way....we're are anxiously awaiting the Spring as that in itself is a holiday for us.

I just put a Marine Holley 850 on my 540 BBF....should see some better numbers.
