According to the points board , if jim shows up to the idaho race and no one else does he'll be far in first place? Is this correct???

I'm not too worried about it cuz I'm taking next year off. I though our points only pertained to scsc races  Oh well , what ever .

No, there wont be any SCSC points awarded at this event, other then this 5 point participation deal...     ...5 points? why bother? If you look at the spread, it doesnt benifit anyone.

Jim told me about this 5 point deal, I didnt agree with it either, but I didnt have a say-so in it since I am not competing....im just that team owner guy. 

 I just saw it as him trying to rack in the points cuz he knew his competition wasnt going to be there 

Unless I find a hull that is well known for perfoming well in circles , I'm gonna take all the hardware that I have acumilated and stick in my boat since at this point I dont have a problem with poking holes in it and experimenting . I do like the fact that the hull is a plow in rough water which can be a benifit at some point . This year I threw the racing thing on the back burner because of my Hallett and since the Hallett didnt need much work I decided to race (at the last second really) and it was a bad idea . It is a blast but the only thing that sucks is that I'm out there with a "lake" boat , up against "race" boats . I tell everybody after they say "how'd it go" I say " I took a knife to a gun fight".

I went to Big River this past weekend and even with the trailer taking a dump on me , I had a bad ass time . Took lots of pics of my two girls in the water . Got my older one to jump in the river with me while we were floating . The last day I got my 10 month old to sit in her car shape float and kick around in the current . This is why I got a boat to begin with . I can go on and on about how I'm always wrenching on my sh!t at the last second cuz my family gets first dibbs on my paycheck . Just really really bad timing on my part .

All of you guys have made a dream come true for me and I'll try and repay you for it . I'll start by having a boat that performs as well as everyone elses on the team .For that I'll need to take my time and not use my racing time as test time .

do you guys happen to have a schedule for the races...i would love to go and watch / and pit crew for anybody if necessary, i can wrench on just about anything.........and i dont mind getting my feet wet either.....(ps..i can wear my brandy new scjb shirt)
