Needing work

Hey guys. My boss and I are looking for some help. He owns a machine shop in irwindale and makes some badass parts he's a genius when it comes to this profession. He's owned his own business for 35 years and has been machining for over 40. Anyways we have lost our two major clients and work has been really slow. I wanted to see if you guys could give us ideas on a new product we could start making/tweeking to make it our own and get his business going strong again. If you guys know of anything or have something in mind please share it. This guy is not only my boss but he's been a family friend since my parents were kids. Any help would be greatly appreciated. What sort of machine work are we talking?

One off, custom stuff? CNC, mass production?

People are always asking me about the widget business, meaning rail kits, grab handles, alternator brackets, billet marker light guards, ski tows, grilles.

Have you looked into Razor parts?

I guess it all depends on your capabilities.

Sorry you guys are slow. I like to keep the little guys working. Anything to keep China's hands off of it.

We make pretty much whatever. We're looking for production something that there's a marked for that we can put our cnc machines to work and bust out parts. We've been doing some custom work lately and running hubs and sprockets. Here's some of our latest

my buddy owns Sand Toyz Unlimited and he was talking about making his own front and rear hubs put of aluminum for Yamaha banshee quads. Let me talk with him he also has his own wheels machined maybe u guys can do that also.

I've been in machining for going on 11 years. I've seen a huge boom in a need for vape components. Simple easy to produce and people pay big bucks.

How many would you need to make to have a small production run. 10 tooth expd-a Clutch drums are getting very hard to find. This is used on kpv and hpv 100cc kart engines

That would be awesome man we can definitely do those. We just made a 100 hubs for the trophy carts.

We've talked about that and making the tips for them but didn't think there was much market for those. Is it that popular ?

Thanks man. He's been a big part of our lives and is going through a rough time. He's really good at what he's does and is pretty much a perfectionist so I would hate to see that talent go to waste.

Yes we have a press. We have two cnc machines a big lathe and small lathe. We can mig and tug weld whatever. Vertical and horizontal saws mills etc
