Fading clear coat
« on: January 22, 2015, 10:13:57 AM »
Hey guys , I'm from the city of Claremont , CA. I know some of you live nearby and I was looking for someone to recommend me a good painter. Had someone do paint/body work on my f-250 a while back and the clear is going to crap now , probably needs a good color sand and the whole truck needs a new coat of clear. Who do you recommend in the so cal area ?? Thanks all

i know a guy.  his work looks great.  hes down in stanton near buena park.  all you want to cut n buff??  or re-clear the truck??  he would most likely need to see it to get you an estimate.

hes a small shop.  dont think it has a name.  the painters/body man's name is pete.
his shop is a few doors down from mine.
its off of katella between dale and beach.  real close to the pick your part.
ill see about getting his number if your interested.

ive seen his work, looks legit!  hes been painting for many years but has only been in my complex for about a year.  he painted one of my neighbors bmw hood about 6-9 months ago...still looks good.  thats all i have as far as longevity.

I do a lot of specialty work. Props, costumes, etc.  I work with fiberglass, metal, wood, plastic.
make vacuum forming tools.
I'm not sure what the painters hrs are. I'm not always at my shop. my address is 8390 katella. Not sure of his address but it's the last shop on my side of complex. His name is Pete.  Little guy. I have to go into shop here in a few....I'll see If he's in.
