Long story short last year I glassed in my bulkhead without using a fillet where the deck and bulkhead meet... Well now I know why you're supposed to use the fillet, it's cracked all the way around.

I don't have the time or resources to order the materials to make my own "peanut butter".

So my question is would I be OK using a Bondo style body filler to create a fillet to glass over?

Not really. Bondo will crush like drywall under abuse. I have used Sea Going Epoxy with good results,  not the heavy duty. The regular.

Yeah I don't have time to order any of that right now either. We're going to Parker this weekend. Guess I'll just glass it with some 1708 without a fillet and fix it right when I have time. Thanks!

I wish. I live in the boonies. What's your recipe to make thickened resin fillet?

My plan was polyester resin chopped/milled fiberglass and fumed silica a.k.a. cabosil
