iv'e pulled out one of my gas tanks and its some kind of fiberglass backing and bottom (one piece) and plastic on the top, front, and sides. it is sealed somehow but not fiberglassed over. the top has come open almost the whole way. what would be the best way to quick fix? sealant fiberglassed over, or straight fiberglassed? and any sealants solvent soluble?
