Filling in rub rail holes

I got home today from the Southwind regatta and noticed that a few screws that were holding the rub rail were coming out. After further investigation I noticed that the section was capped. I took the rest of the rub rail off and the whole thing is capped. What I want to know what would be the best way to fill in all the holes where the screws were? Thanks for your help in advance.

Haul it to good shop w/ ice cold 6'r an trade for info,sent from barn drink'n 10 or 12 cold ones🍺🍺

Sean (allfiredup) had his Eliminator capped at GS Marine with good results, Ron (76Bonneville) had his gel coat work done at Orange County Boat Repair also with good results.

It doesn't look as smooth as  a normal cap job, it might just be a very good fit between the two halves.

Thanks for the advise, the picture doesn't show it really well, but it's a really smooth transition. The line where the paint changes makes it look a little rough.

Nick it looks to me like the joint is in the red.  My boat has had a lot of feather fill primer and when I was done it looked like it was capped but it was not.

So capping,  is that just glassing the deck and hull together from the outside....feathering smooth, so you don't see a lip or overlap?
Not for structural integrity....but more for appearance ...Correct?
