Let's say I was going to pop out some fiberglass seats for my boat (I've got more time than money) How thick would you guys in the know recommend it be? If this works out, I'll be making front bucket and rear bench seats, among other pieces, no I didn't quit my day job, just trying to save some $$$

you might have more money in  buying the resin and the fiberglass matting mold release than it would be in just buying some that are done already.i could get you a good deal on some fronts if you would like to go that route?

What kind of good deal are we talking? Any chance of getting a rear bench to match? How wide are the fronts you can get? I'm not doing this strictly for my boat, I have bench seat molds, one 44" wide, one 50" wide, I was planning on using a widebody to pop a front mold. I figure that once I get the first couple of each built and sold, the rest would be profit, profit = BOAT MONEY

Seriously, what kind of deal can you get?

Are they race wieght or are they "fat guy in a lake boat" wieght? If they are the fatguy wieght, I'll take 2. You got any hookups on snap on seat covers?
