paint stripper

Is paint stripper faster/better than a large d.a. for getting down to the gel? It has 3 coats of paint on it.

I used a product for stripping aircraft that did not damage fiberglass ,that is very important ,it worked great. Mine had gobs of horrible thick paint, had to apply stripper twice but then it was just gelcoat left. it just depends on how much work you want to do later ,a DA with 80 grit will peel the paint fast but leaves a lot of scratches to deal with, here is a link to what I used

just did mine with stripper/scrapper/and then orbital sander w 80

the first layer was a piece of cake with the scrapper because it didnot stick at all to the under layer
used stripper the rest of way until i got to some black primer that the stripper wouldnt even touch
