Should I strip it?
« on: August 04, 2008, 05:56:45 PM »
hey I have posted questions in the engine tec area gotten rapid response! I am a newby to this site and I dont think I'll ever look for any other site!  scream and fly was open to too wide of a range! THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!!! but back to my question, my boat was painted 12 years ago still looks good except where the fuel fills are!  you can tell they didn't use gelcoat! I work in the marine industry and this wouldn't have happened! It was painted at a custom auto shop. this I know as it belonged to a friend. I luv the candy reds and purples used, this took months to do! BUT I would prefer the boat to be pristene.... should I strip it and start over! :screwy:

If your using Kodak EasyShare software, you can resize your pics by
1.  Click and drag the pic you want to work with to the photo tray on the right side of the screen
2.  Double click on the photo in the photo tray
3.  When the new window opens hit the Save As button
4.  Change the "file name" so it doesn't match anything else
5.  At the bottom is a drop down that says Resize Pictures (pick "best for web")
6.  Hit the save button
7.  Now when you browse and choose that pic it should attach properly

Good luck, I hope this helps

If your using Paint;
just right click the picture you want to mod.,
goto "open with", scroll down to Paint,
goto "Image" scroll down to Resize/Skew,
enter the sise you want in the horiz. and vertical windows (Do both the same or your boat will look like it was rolled over by Grave Digger),

If your picture was say a 1MB file go like 25% on each, you will be golden.

Tried to upload a pic or two a little while ago and the download files were full, just wait a bit, there is probably a server overload right now...
