I just picked up this Spectra 19 and I'm toying with different ideas inside the hull.  I'm gonna be pulling the floor out anyways as it has a couple soft spot. My question is what is good on these boats. Should I stick with a quarter stringer and sub floor from there forward. Should I do a single center stringer from motor box forward and then bulkheads every so many feet. Or replace the motor box and run 2 full length stringers all the way. I like having a floor. Makes it eiser to walk and must stuff. I feel like with 2 stringers I can't put a floor on top because it will put the seats way up. I've seen it done so Manny different ways. Right now I'm leaning towards a center stringer with bulkheads and a floor on top of that. What's everyone's opinion.

But that said, I ran 700+hp in a quarter stringer Tahiti with no issues

Not going crazy power. Maybe 500 to 600hp. I'm sure full stringer is definitely the strongest. I'm more concerned about it through rough water. I primarily boat between needles and havasu. Lots of big boats and chop.

I consider it pretty mild. We put a 450 horse crate in our advantage and I think that's nothing co.sidering most new boats are coming with factory packages over 500 horse now a days. It's crazy when we first bought our victory in 97 we thought our 318 horse 454 was a big motor, lol.

Nice ride! I have a Spectra 19 with 1/4 stringers and floor.  Never felt unstable so far.  Then again I'm also not doing 80+ mph....YET.  Depends on the application and layup.  I ran 68 on gps in my old hawaiian and there was never and delamination.  I plan on keeping my boat these Spectra 19s handle great in my opinion and I think with full stringers would be a very solid hull at high speed.
Mineaswell do full stringers now while everything is out rather then building it and regretting it later.

Thanks. At this point I'm not shooting for insane speeds. If it will do high 60s or or 70 I'll bee happy. Maybe in the future when funds are a little better I might throw a blower on it which is why I'm building this engine as beefy as I can. I'm definitely going to start doing the inside now though. I started a build thread already on it. Just haven't had much time to work on it. I'll get back on it soon though.

Probably have them built. I want as much capacity as possible and fit the boat right.
