Teak swim step
« on: July 17, 2012, 07:27:13 PM »
The guys who owned the boar before me treated the teak swim step with varnish. Its slick and has drops in the drain slots. I was going to strip it and the sand it with 120 then use a teak oil. My other thought was to have it ran through a planer on both sides and router the slots. Is that s bad idea?

Planer sounds good to me might look brand new again from all the material you'll remove
