Hey Gang - new to the forum after buying 'Jacks' Rogers custom 87 open bow boat but have to share this. 

Had the usual oxidation all over the gel coat and while i watched all the videos I did not believe it was my new expertise to polish up the old girl.  Found Rocky out of luck on craigs list - this guy is just a kid but knows gel coat and is located right off Temescal canyon for all of us.  He came to the house, spent about 5 hours doing his thing and made the float look wet while dry for a couple hundred bucks.  Def. kudos to him and his skills......

Yeah no worries at all.  Really a hard working kid in my book..... spent a solid 5 hours on it and he has all the right tools and goops.

Almost feel guilty loading her up with the kids and coolers and heading to the lake this morning.....

Yep before pics would really validate the kids work. I paid 500 but that was 2 days worth of work and it included wet sanding. My float was in really bad shape gel coat wise. If your float looked like mine before the Polish I'll feel jibbed hehe.

U can definetly see the difference on the front of the boat
