I looked at a 74 super jet before i got my Baja. It seemed like a good hull, but the one I looked at was in bad shape... wood rot, bad paint, no interior, etc, etc. Plus, it had a really crappy trailer, and a "sick" OLDS 455. I chose to go wit a different boat, but I did alot of research on the SANGER, and they seem to be a very good, and fast hull. I would not be afraid to buy one that was in good condition.

I bought a 1976 Challenger with a 454 and an "E" berk pump. It is a real solid boat, but porpoises like an SOB. By the shape it is in, I don't think it has been on the water much in it's "life".
