78 Sanger pickle fork

What are everybody's thoughts on this hull??  There's one for sale on CL with a blown BBC that looks pretty awesome...  Contemplating selling my 74 Rogers (that I haven't even had in the water yet) in favor of the Sanger...  So my question to all you good people on here, that know way more than I, is...  which do you think is a better hull?  Both are 4 seaters and need painted

Anybody's thoughts on these 2 styles of boats is greatly appreciated

The Sanger hydro jets are not good hulls. Look cool but that's about it. They sit very low in he water and get swamped very easily. I've also read no matter how much horse power you throw at it, its still a pig.

The only way to get a hydro to run is to pop the tail, which tends to be problematic when you've got a pump back there.  They look cool, need way to much power to beat my shitty outboard, and they look cool, that's about it.

That's why I love this forum!!  You guys kick ass...  Thanks for all the great info and saving me from a BIG mistake!!  And X2 on painting the Rogers!  I also want to upgrade the motor in a few seasons but that can come in time
