Neither. Most Kona's were full stringer boats and most Tahiti's were 1/4 stringer boats. However both brand names could be built either way as per the customer's orders.
It's a boat on eBay and from I've received back from the guy selling it, he has no real idea what he has. Here is how it is listed.
16' TAHITI BOAT, TRAILER, VOLVO MOTOR, AND VOLVO DRIVE16' TAHITI BOAT, TRAILER, 4 CYLINDER B20 VOLVO MOTOR WITH BURNT VALVE, VOLVO 270 OUTDRIVE, ALL MAJOR PARTS APPEAR TO BE THERE. I HAVE AN EXTRA ENGINE OUT OF A VOLVO P1800 B18 I WILL SELL SEPARATE, WHICH IS COMPLETE AND TURNS OVER BY HAND. NO TITLE FOR BOAT OR TRAILER, SOLD AS PARTS BOAT, TRAILER INCLUDED, I DO HAVE LEIN SALE PAPER WORK FOR THE BOAT, NOT TRAILER. BUYER RESPONSIBLE FOR TRANSPORTATION AND LICENSING TO TRANSPORT. EMAIL FOR FURTHER QUESTIONS. POSSIBLE DELIVERY, FOR DELIVERY CHARGE.
I'm not interested in the motor or the outdrive, since I have a SBC I would be installing. How hard would it be to make it a full stringer hull if it happens to be a 1/4 stringer?
