oscilating saw like the one pictured above, cut the tabbing. wheels and things that spin make dust. vibrating saws dont. once the tabbing is cut, the fuel fill removed, the sender wire and ground for the tank level sender, and the fuel hose the tank should be able to be pulled out. but dont throw it away just yet. take it down to IMCO and have a set of replacements made that match the dimensions of the ones removed. install them into the same location using the same tabbing method. that way the fuel fill locations, sender, etc are all in the same exact place.
